It's been forever since I jammed it but I remember liking it quite a bit, but now that there's this I probably won't have any reason to go back to it. This is definitely alot better

Definitely one of my favorite releases this year, possibly AOTY. Like when the pummeling main riff of Agarta comes back in after the softer clean section, fuck it's soooo good! So many awesome moments on this record

Clair Obsur could definitely have been an Amenra song, I'm glad it's not though, perfect closer for this album. Reminds me of some druid rituals n shit

You know it's the same guitar player right?

Doesn't Amenra's vocalist make an appearance on this as well? Or was that on Maelstrom?

Everything sounds like Caro on here to me, I'm not aware of any guest vocals

Honestly, I wish this band started doing longer tracks "Clair Obscur" and "The Abyss Looks Into Me" because they nail the long tracks perfectly on this.

Very raw, very aggressive, but with a nice tint of melody and melancholy running throughout. For me a couple of songs are a little longer than they should be (For what it is, 'The abyss looks into me' does overstay its welcome at nine minutes), but the opposing emotions within the diverse vocal range is brilliant here. At times it reminds me of Cult of Luna, at others early Converge, but this is another Belgian band that has turned my head.

Really? The Abyss looks into me is my favorite track by far. I honestly think this band NAILS the longs tracks compared to the shorter ones.
