Shpongle goes really well with the 2Cs imo, not that I advocate anything

Friends swear by the group when Shpongled, and to be honest it seems like it would be one hell of a time.

It kind of makes me sad that they've veered so far away from the more organic type of instrumentation and hooks on Tales of the Inexpressible.

I actually enjoy the less "tribal" influence here simply because it was so prominent on their other work (and I listened to those albums so much).

hmm never tried any form of DMT, is music even comprehendable during a trip like that? On something

like salvia I basically forget how to use my ears. Most RCs are just a more visual-oriented acid trip

(the world looks like you're watching an old 3-D movie without the red and blue glasses on) but has

less of the "magic" that Alice never fails to bring

Yeah a lot of people didn't apparently, a really nice surprise if you like the group though.

To me the lack of those influences makes the music more homogeneous, though less so than Ineffable Mysteries. I just wish more of their music made me want to dance like Shpongleyes and My Head Feels Like a Frisbee. But I guess expectations can ruin what they're trying to do here.

Hmm I can see that, though this is far about Ineffable for me. I enjoy leaving some of their

trademarks behind and making something that is inbetween the two ends of their spectrum; this has a

lot of live mixing capabilities, especially with the more prominent bass lines.
