Listened to it for the first time today. Album definitely has its moments. It has a lot of passion and technically Anneke is perfect as always. My only concern is whether it will stand the test of time.

I like this album but I had so many months (maybe a year) to give it a spin again. I bet you won't listen to this one for a long time.. but damn, it's Anneke! :D

Saw her for the 1st time 2 days ago in Buchurest...she's just unbelievable..and also too damn big for such a small band.
They've played The Gathering's Saturnine, and that alone would justify the concert, best song ever.

Yeah Saturnine is a great song. I think I've seen her 3 times with The Gathering though.
With each album she seems to stray away from what she did with The Gathering. Let alone from my personal favorites Mandylion and Nighttime Birds, she's far far away from those. I'm not bitter or anything but I think this is where she peaked.

Yeah, for me Nighttime Birds is still her best performance overall. And like I said, all of her solo/AdA albums have awsome songs but I don't think she will ever top the best TG albums (including Disclosure ofc) with this band/composers.
