@sowing well i mean, a 4.5 does seem pretty steep, but I do enjoy this more than his last ep and I gave it a 4 (which i feel is a fair rating). I just didn't really know how to show that this one was better other than to give this a 4.5

I have listened to all 5 songs once.
It reminds me of Pedro The Lion's first EP, but if I compare them this is lacking a lot. The vocals are way too average to carry the songs and so are the lyrics. There are some great guitar melodies but again, compare it with Citycop's acoustic EP and tell me this isn't totally boring compared to it.
I think this would definitely sound better with a whole band to support the guy but he alone really isn't enough to make this work of music any better than average.
It could be so much better.
IMO
