Also, you 4.5'd the new Mac Miller album, so yeah.

Who the fuck even mentioned this being as good as Illmatic or The Low End Theory, are you slow?
And if you can't see that the new Mac Miller album is great then idk, you probably have a hard time forming your own
opinions without the help of this site (or any other input) to begin with
Also the numerical value means SHIT when there's a (REALLY LONG, in this case) review to back it up. You should learn to
read and make coherent posts

K, thx. I'll remember that while I'm listening to good rap and hip-hop.

Teasing? Hardly.
I just don't know what Narsh is confused about, seriously. The Low End Theory is sitting at a 4.4
right now, and he apparently thinks this Jay-Z album is a 4 - which is less than a half point of
difference between the two. So yes Narsh, in fact you implied that this is nearly as good as that
album as well as plenty of other hip-hop classics.

'o yes Narsh, in fact you implied that this is nearly as good as that

Wrong.

How is that wrong at all? Would you not assume an album that is rated a 4/5 would be pretty close in
quality to one that is rated a 4.4/5?
|
| |
Don't be dumb. Personal ratings and sputnik overall average ratings are very different otherwise no-one could ever vote over a 4.5

Obviously the community consensus on this album is a lot different than his rating, but that's not what I'm talking about and you know it. Rating an album at a 5/5 means that it's perfect, that is has essentially zero flaws and that you can't find any fault in it. Rating it at a 4/5 means it's just two notches below that and therefore implying that it's two steps short of an immaculate album.

Also, for the record, I'm not one of the people who neg'd this. The review was good enough and had a lot of effort, I just completely disagree with it.

'Rating it at a 4/5 means it's just two notches below that and therefore implying that it's two steps short of an immaculate album. '
It really doesn't. Anyway - everyone's rating system is personal to them, just look at theacadamy. A 4 to me means an excellent album I really enjoy, but not mind blowingly good. Probably means something else to someone else.
I know you don't agree but c'mon. It's called an opinion

lol Im glad Im not that only one that sees that JasonCarne is an idiot
and btw I don't really care about numerical ratings, negs or pos's or anything of that sort.
If you have nothing constructive to say about the writing itself, the points I bring up or your own WELL ARTICULATED and LOGICAL opinions then please fuck off
@JS19 I appreciate you trying but there's no need to talk to him lol

Yeah exactly, tbh I should know it never works anyway : )
I really enjoyed your review btw, even though I don't really agree

Thanks, I didn't think many people would but the absolutely terrible reviews for this album - the ones that think it's alright to disregard any real anyalsis of something if it isn't what they wanted or expected - are the reason I wrote this.
I figured tbt was the best way to actually give proof and support my overall feelings on this album: that, although not in the top tier of his catalogue, it is definitely not a misstep and is a good to great album throughout.

I cant figure out if that dude is too stupid to realize that the endless amounts of music in existence make it possible for something thats rated a 4.0 and something thats a 4.5 to be infinitely different and wholly unique in terms of quality or if he honestly believes that a 4.0 is just "2 notches" below a 5, which is a "flawless classic" lol
Or if he can even comprehend that the numerical value for an album is the LEAST important aspect
