I've always had a little trouble with this bands lyrics, I just felt they come across as to simplistic

and shallow because of it, they just didn't fit with the emotion they were sung with at times. But the

music itself is so goddamned charming it's hard to resist not listening. They seem to have the same

style this time but I guess you gotta enjoy the little things in life, and see the big picture of it

all as you did (Referring to your interpretation of Snack Attack). Regardless great review Irving!

Thanks Felix.

And to be absolutely honest I'm still very surprised at the reception this album has been getting from the Sput thus far. Because, you know, "typical indie bullshit" etc etc.

I wonder if SowingSeason has seen this yet.

I am not that surprised. I mean sure it's indie but still got some emo flavor to it. Also Topshelf

Records bands usually do pretty well on here. Maybe people who follow the label decides to check it

out and rate it.

Pardon the ignorance on my part here guys but, why does Topshelf Records have such a following? =S

Ehh they generally just sign pretty good bands and many of them are relatively popular here on

sputnik. They kinda become The label for a lot of emo bands and some post-hardcore and screamo bands

as well. It's more the bands that are signed to Topshelf, sputnik likes, not because they are signed

to topshelf but I guess the fact doesn't hurt. If you take a gander you'll probably find quite a few

bands you might know of from here: http://www.topshelfrecords.bigcartel.com/

Topshelf the label has a following because they are classy and dedicated people that strive only to put out quality.

It helps that most of the bands they work with are super talented.
