This is probably my third fave, Ok Computer just cannot be beaten full stop.
I love Wolf at the door and 2+2=5, they're two of my favourite Radiohead songs, but I hate I Will, Fly To The Moon, We Suck Young Blood, The Gloaming and a few others. The tracks I like, I love, but the others, particularly the techno ones can get very boring if you're not into them.
Definitely a worthy purchase, but remember to give it time

I don't really get the connection between the Iraq war and the lyrics on 2+2=5. I've heard so many people draw that connection, but the lyrics are very vague, yet everyone seems to have the same interpretation. I actually read in a Rolling Stones interview when this came out Thom saying that that is NOT what it's about, and the name is not bashing George Bush.
Yet everyone else seems to think so. Oh well, I'll go on and keep getting my own meaning out of lyrics that are ambiguous. Imagine that.

I always thought 2+2=5 is a 1984 reference.

The title 2+2=5 is a 1984 reference, and I always figured Hail T the Theif was bashing Bush. Maybe not, but to the world, that's what it meant.

To be honest, I am growing more and more in love with this album. Aside from like 3 or 4 fillers, the rest of it is so punishingly good. I love the words to A Wolf At The Door.
Right now:
Kid A
Hail to the Thief
OK Computer

Hail To The Thief is an interesting album. In terms of Radiohead, it's a step backwards, but lyrically it's a step forwards. It's for those who liked OK Computer more than Kid A, but not for those who liked The Bends more than OK Computer wow, dude. well done. that's describes my preferences (though not necessarily my proposedly-objective ratings) to a 't'

Scatterbrain is the penultimate track on the album, not A Wolf At The Door. Other than that, this is a pretty good review. I am liking this album a lot.

Amazing disc, I do agree, does tend to drag and lean towards filler-ish tracks in spots, but overall the better tracks are so strong, and cover some of the small stench the filler leave behind

This and Avenged Sevenfold's album titles should be switched.
Radiohead are kings. Avenged Sevenfold are song thieves.
