ah shit, the groove on "slow" makes me happy

Not a fan of this at all on the first listen. And King Krule's vocals... leave much to be desired, I'll just say that.

Obsidian has been the biggest grower of the year for me; on the first listen, I really, really disliked it.

I just wish it was more musically varied, cause that's what made Cerulean so great for me

Obsidian is a grower yeh but It lacks the fun melodies that made cerulean so great.

I like this a lot more than their last one too. This is my first introduction to King Krule, and after checking out his stuff via the 'Rock Bottom' music vid I was astounded by what the kid looks like.

Anyway.. very cool album.
