ah shit, the groove on "slow" makes me happy

Not a fan of this at all on the first listen. And King Krule's vocals... leave much to be desired, I'll just say that.
|
| |
i like him on this more than on anything he's released himself
almost picked this up on vinyl earlier

Obsidian has been the biggest grower of the year for me; on the first listen, I really, really disliked it.
|
| |
I just wish it was more musically varied, cause that's what made Cerulean so great for me
|
| |
cerulean sucked
|
| |
Cerulean was fairly average
As is this

king krule helps boost this album.
Obsidian is a grower yeh but It lacks the fun melodies that made cerulean so great.

I like this a lot more than their last one too. This is my first introduction to King Krule, and after checking out his stuff via the 'Rock Bottom' music vid I was astounded by what the kid looks like.
Anyway.. very cool album.

Shadows turn to grey, a slave today
He cowered beyond reckless tracks of impulse
Made to stray around rough coasts when grace is close to home
