Fantastic review. I usually dislike tangents like your "Camp Donald" ending paragraph, but the idea's poignant and it's written exceptionally.

a lot of grammar errors
anyways not a fan of the review's content.
something that may seem mundane to you and me might be profound to someone else, when it's you who's embarrassed it might change your views in ways that seem ridiculous from a logical standpoint, yet stir enough emotion in you to drive you forward. how many people have been cut from something? let's say varsity basketball? well michael jordan sure was, and he let us know it even on his fucking HOF induction. you might think he's petty but that's not the point, the point is this slight drove MJ to be the greatest basketball player of all time. most of us would have whined to our friends and family and gotten over it.
that whole paragraph that he's successful so why does he talk about his issues is so self-absorbed (ironically so) because you assume that since you'd be happy if you were in his position, he should be happy too. maybe being successful career-wise doesn't make him feel like a good person, or fulfilled, or whatever.
so here's the thing: i've never heard this album. you might be right about what you're saying. but the big issue is this---i don't know if i can trust you. you say this:
"we do not actually know Donald and this tortured image he is presenting us had been designed to manipulate us into taking pity on him"
which is a huge claim to make. but where is the evidence? the big thing i'd say is you need to add in quotes to strengthen your claims. for now they sound like generalized, presumptuous statements with no real basis. (and saying "yo listen to this song" is not ample evidence, we need a sampler)

You make done good points. I didnt reapize it but I was writing this review based on the assumption people had aleady heard the album, I'll dig for some quotes to prop up that claim since it is a serious one.

Grammatical slip-ups really aren't that big a deal, especially in context of content, writing style, execution etc.

"Grammatical slip-ups really aren't that big a deal, especially in context of content, writing style, execution etc."
are you serious? it's like writing 101: proofread. yeah, it's a pretty big deal when the person has a grade 4 mistake in the first line, it discredits the rest of the review. I assume the rest of the writing is just as sloppy and poor when there's a mistake that blatant that early on. It might not be, but that's what grammar/spelling errors do to how people read the review.
it's not a big deal to just proofread
