=] thanks a lot, guys. Be sure to check this album out if you haven't already-- I know everybody says that, but
releases like these make me see music differently. I'd like more people to experience what I have here.

Feedback time! Here goes:
The movement benefitted vastly from the group's output, and that was one thing about its debut that really spoke to me-- each section of Tera Melos was integral to the greater whole.
1. I'm pretty sure it's spelled "benefited," but I may be wrong.
2. This feels kinda like 2 separate sentences. What does an album with no filler have to do directly with the math-rock movement as a whole?
these musicians spent so much time laboriously crafting the music.
I don't know why, but "so much time" rubs me the wrong way.
lucked out
hella casual, not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing
So in this light, Untitled comes across as arguably the most self-damaging record Tera Melos has released yet.
Great sentence. One thing, though: is it Untitled or Tera Melos?
It’s not hard to picture the band rehearsing “Melody 5” over and over again, perfecting its intro’s grueling arrangement until inevitably, one of the coordinators slips up.
You don't really need the comma after "inevitably." Also, maybe "the" would be better than "its?"
[quote]that has exhausted its resources so much
Maybe "totally exhausted its resources" instead?
I'm finding most of my comments here are super-minor nitpicks. Rudy was right - this is a really strong review.

Qualifications abound: when I say “relatively,” I only mean more logical than “Melody 8.”
Is one qualification enough to say "qualifications abound?"
Latona talked with me about how the band started off in a very punk-oriented scene, and how Tera Melos wasn’t too well-accepted within it.
I don't really know why, but this sentence feels really abrupt. Maybe lead into it better?
Isn’t it the ultimate irony, after all, that such a tightly orchestrated math rock pinnacle unravels by the time its denouement strikes?
SWEEEEET
the most phenomenally flawed masterpiece math rock has ever seen.
DUUUUUUDE
seriously sweet review. It's honestly one of the most solid pieces I've read from you recently, and it's really well-done. Nice job!

Appreciate it as always, Will. I think it reads much more smoothly now that I've make quite a few edits! And thanks for the compliments-- I've been working on my writing a lot, and I'm glad to see it's beginning to pay off.
And do it, Dragon! Check out Melody 4 here, and see what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaYVYNj8dYc

'hard to love anything when you love everything' would have been better
what's wrong with high ratings though? it only means there is more shit for him to like.

Album Rating: 4.5
it's still SO GOOD. The intro jam. The tempo shifts in Melody 5. So many good ideas on this.
|
| |
sometimes i wish these guys were just an intrumental band again
|

this one specifically
always
|
| |
i always think that when i listen to X'ed out. i i wish there was more crazy guitar playing on that album like what's on here and DTTDY. Nick is a way better guitar player than a singer
