They've been around for the better part of two decades. Their first major hit was "Run" (although more are probably familiar with the Leona Lewis cover version). Eyes Open (which contains "Chasing Cars") was their second breakout hit, and the album has been widely regarded as their best yet. Two other albums have since followed: A Hundred Million Suns and Fallen Empires.



So no, hardly a one hit wonder. That being said, they're ok, I guess.

Damn. I have been painfully unaware of both band's existence (probably haven't missed out on much though). I haven't heard anything by Lifehouse except for whatever the album with Hanging By A Moment on it is called (pretty sure I owned it in high school).

I actually have the album Eyes Open, I just wasn't much of a fan except for Chasing Cars.

Love this band, especially during their Hundred Million Suns era. I can't believe they separated What If This Storm Ends, though. That's blasphemous.
