Dude has endless cred with me for mallrats etc. He seems like a nice guy to me and I don't think sellout is a four letter word. You do the high paying crap so you can keep taking chances on the stuff you like (like My Name is Earl). He's been pretty open about those Alvin movies being crap but he couldn't turn down the cash. As to the rest I don't know that any of that is true save for his kids name which is kind of a douche move.
