this bands earlier stuff was mostly c-level ripoffs of bands like cursed and tragedy and now its just another bland riffing punk band to throw in the garbage alongside black breath and trap them

Idk man. The album's much more profound than that. I'm not the only one who thinks so. If you like numbers: it has 85/100 on metacritic so far.

I can't believe I didn't know they had something new out! But in all honesty, Evan Patterson>Ryan Patterson

I have no idea who Evan Patterson is. This has really grown on me to the point that I think it can easily squeeze into my top 10 LPs of 2013. Hence the rating bump.

Evan Patterson is in Young Widows.

Not nearly as good, but still worth checking out. They had rawer sound in the past.

Love Under Will is a seriously great tune, and I like their earlier hardcore-y stuff. Still, Young Widows' Old Wounds is better than anything these dudes have released so far.
