"Young Lovers" holds up so well.

The album itself is a 2.5, but the Deluxe Edition really brings it - four extra tracks can really make a difference

theyre pretty good but they both, along w much of this album wore off me pretty fast. this isnt bad but lacks any real memorable standouts, which even this addiction had in spite of its many flaws
broken wing ep rules tho

I've only checked this twice but those two were the only one to leave any sort of positive impression on me

Underrated record. Seasoned and classy pop-punk that give me San Francisco vibes. Like every track on it to some degree. Much better than the previous two.

"I'm Only Here To Disappoint and I, Pessimist rule" [2]
Still cant get over how great those songs are, especially when compared to the straight mediocrity on the rest of the disc. Most 2.5 album ever if it weren't for those two

I loved Alkaline Trio as a kid, particularly Infirmary and Good Mourning
Then I got back into them with how good Cursed was
Got tickets to the UK shows with Taking Back Sunday next year so needed to fill in the blanks and listen to the gap between Crimson and Cursed
This album is far far better than anything else in that period when coming in to those albums all at once. I can see how this was a return to form ahead of a potential career best in Cursed

Yeah I still think this is massively underrated. I can easily listen to it front to back. Way better than TA and A&I, and I definitely like it more than Crimson since it’s way more punk and energetic, which works best for the Trio
Also may be Derek Grant’s best performance
