goes hard in the paint. did not know jr used to do gutturals, was a sick surprise. the low rating is definitely somewhat perplexing but i kind of get it as this is more standard grind compared to their later stuff. really dig it though. scott hull really is the master of riffs and pixie is absolutely monstrous. just perfect sludge and an obvious sign of future expansion of that sound.

Is this included in the 38 Counts of Battery? Because if so it’s fucking sick just not on the level of the holy trinity of grind (Prowler, Terrifyer, Phantom Limb)

pixie is an all timer and i love jr's variety on here. great quick and dirty grind. very excited to finally listen to phantom limb.

Oh you haven’t jammed it yet futures??
I don’t wanna hype it up too much for you but it’s my favorite PD record. I know im in the minority there tho. The final leg of that record (4th degree burns through the end) is my favorite stretch of music that they’ve made. It’s not as batshit insane as Prowler or Terrifyer but honestly some of those riffs are still unreal, they’re just not at a complete breakneck pace the entire time lol.

yep not yet. listened to terrifyer last week and instantly just an all time fav of mine. a rare insta 5. wrote a little blurb in the thread. then went back and did this. heard prowler way back and book burner on release was my intro oddly enough. just never did the discog front to back proper like it deserved.

i liked their more groovy, sludgy tracks the most tbh so that makes me more excited!
