sure i like the album, not their best, but first of all, you were far to generous. if you think a song seems like filler, than how the hell does it get an 8/10? jus judge more accordingly.
also, i almost COMPLETELY disagree with everything you say, strangely enough. It always seems like the songs that arent released as singled end up seeming better than those that are. i loved rock show buti mean, its been played so much that i dont relly like it anymore. STFTK was lik the only song on there that wasnt ruined by being a single. reckless abandon and shutup are among (in my opinion) the best songs on the album. but whatever, its your opinion
also for the bonus tracks, quit bitchin everyone and jus look up the songs on google. try singingfish.com or just a play "download what went wrong blink" google search. its that easy.

Pretty good review. This album had its ups and downs, but it definatly wasnt their worst.
I think Enema was.

The review was alright... but my favorite songs tend to be the ones you don't like.
Online Songs, and Shut Up ... my favorites.

I didn't like the review. He made it sound like bass was pretty important, and that Mark plays good bass. Trust me his bass are weak. Only "Carousel" shows barely any skills, but that's it. The review also showed an abundance of questions, which is really useless. Like why do they use fuck so many times in Shut Up?.... Dude that's how they wanted to make the song. Shut Up is probably the most serious on there. And I also didn't like how his reviews mainly consisted on Tom/Mark's lyrics... After a while you realize they sing about the same thing, and lyrics shouldn't be emphasized like this... The melody, tone, mood, etc should be the main part.
"Stay Together for the Kids" is a huge blowoff. It's basically a replay of the intro/verse/chorus 3 times in a row.... BORING. It would sound of sounded much better if it was Intro/Verse/Chorus/Bridge (excluding the part where chorus is played with no vocals/Outro.
And Tom can't sing, they fix his voice up SOOO much. You realize Tom's real sining is on all of blink's albums before Enema, which were much better albums anyways. But luckily Mark can kind of sing still.
Bad album seriously. They were much better with crappier singing and better instrumentals like in pre-Enema. They should of ATLEAST played very similar to most of the better songs in Enema.
I would say a lot more, but whatever. I'll be nice and give an average.

Dear gomartygo,
This is Tom Delonge. After reading that (and trust me, I read every comment on Sputnikmusic), I have decided you are right and I am wrong. I am now going to put aside my massive ego and reform blink 182.
Your friend,
Tom Delonge

dude, shut up is like one of the best songs on the album. you don't just give it a shithouse rating because it says fuck a few times, grow a fucking dick then re-do the review for that song!

I'd drop each individual rating by 1.5-2, and raise Shut Up by 1. Then I might agree.

Album Rating: 4.5
dude, you gave the joke songs higher ratings than some of the best songs on the album i.e. reckless abandon, anthem pt 2, roller coaster. That makes no sense
