They are typically Australian.
Brisbane wasn't so bad. Fair few people but I think over the years it could have grown like Soundwave did.

Yeah but Soundwave added cities gradually. No sleep may have tried too big, and ended up not breaking even

Smoko was actually a really fucking solid album.

Fuck yeah it is. Was so happy when I listened to it, was pretty consistent.
Definitely one of my favorites.

Will do.
I like your review of Wil Wagner's Laika. Such a great album.

Sydney show was not that big, because Soundwave was a month or 2 after, people were saving for that instead.

Yeah I knew it didn't sell out, I was there, but seemed like there was a decentish crowd. But it's true, the two main stages were lucky if they got the turn out Soundwave gets for its medium stages

Yeah l was there too. Would take that line-up over Soundwave's line-up.

I think I remember the Soundwave that year was shitty. Theres been three or four fantastic Soundwave lineups but they're becoming increasingly mainstream, which is unfortunate for a festival that labels itself alternative

This year's line-up was shit.

Agreed hard. So was BDO, although it was marginally better than Soundwave. This was the year I really missed No Sleep, every other year either BDO or Soundwave can hold my attention but not this time. Luckily, the year has made up for it by a significant amount of my favourite artists touring on their own. It's been a ridiculous run of concerts lately

Yeah Australia have been getting good tours lately. Soundwave has gone to shit, and the prices have gone up. I'm not payin 200 bucks to go to a shit festival.

It's hard to believe Soundwave cost 120 only 3 years ago
