Album is soooo boring. None of the choruses hooked me, the guitar work blows, no solid melodies or
anything. They seem to be trying to sound heavy, which doesn't work for bands like this. Any Alt Metal
band that tries to be heavy is easily blown out of the water by decent band that has built a career on
heavy music. I enjoy the more melodic side of Sevendust myself. Songs like Unraveling and whatnot.
This bores me to tears.
And here I was all excited by the talk of the band being really inspired during the making of this
album. Oh well.

Aside from the radio friendly tracks, I was never much into Sevendust. Glad to see fans of the band are getting something good though. Well written review.

You know, there will always be the crowd who enjoys the heavier material and the crowd that wants more melody. But Sevendust never goes out of their way to go strictly one direction in an album, nor should they. They balance the two well and that is what they will continue to do.

That's what I like about the record so much. It manages to give a healthy balance between melody and
aggression, as opposed to alienating the two like a lot of modern bands do
and no prob KJ
