there was an ep as well last year which blew this one out of the water imo.

I prefer this to the EP.

I think the new album might be even better though. Need to give it a few more listens yet but I'm already considering lowering my rating for this and 4.5ing the new one.

Yeah true but this is like between a 4 and a 4.5 for me so I could quite happily lower it if the new one is significantly better.

Yup, Denovali are re-pressing it since he signed with them. There are still some of the first pressing left though, if you prefer this artwork (which I do).

Listened to A fabric of beliefs over the weekend while reading the fellowship of the ring. There were some really standout parts... but yet again like sorcery/geography, there were some instances where I was wondering what the hell the artist was trying to convey/accomplish.
