I like this, but I really don't think it has much staying power.

Has anyone noticed that at the end March of the Pilgrims, it sounds very similar to My Chemical Romances "Sleep"???????

Overall, I like the album but don't think it has any lasting value. It's a very quick listen. I've been skipping "Anthem" and especially "March of the Pilgrims? cuase of the similarities with MCR's "Sleep." Carters voice is not bad. Goes well with that rock-pop sound. It's just a little funny how both members (Gallows & Hope Conspiracy) went to this type of music.

'Anthems' is an apt title for the debut LP from trans-Atlantic duo Pure Love (former Gallows front-man Frank Carter & ex-Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carroll). Bravely eschewing the hardcore punk they were known for, this Gil Norton produced album delivers 11 slabs of energetic arena-ready rock. Carter's passionately delivered vocals are a melodic revelation, while there are enough power chords, hooky guitar lines & chunky riffs to add value. It's simply structured & nothing too ground-breaking, but the duo's diverse influences subtly shine through to provide sufficient diversity. Recommended Tracks: Bury My Bones, Riot Song, Beach of Diamonds & Handsome Devil's Club.
