Disagree. This is very good even for today's standards! Well, especially for today's standards, if you

know what i mean.

What did you find to be so average Dun? I do appreciate some good constructive criticism.

@ Wogger

#1 not a large variety throughout the songs. I'm not sure if it's the drumming or the riffs or the overall song structures or maybe a combination of all 3 that make this sound very samey

#2 there is nothing that sets it apart from most other decent metalcore bands

all that being said, it's not like I cringed or anything while listening. there just isn't anything that would entice me to give it repeated listens

Point taken. I would actually say we worked harder on making the album diverse. But see what you mean, our song structures are and can be repetitive. Also very aware that there are cliche metalcore moments, but Id say in some ways can help it be more accessible. It is only a debut so there are plenty of kinks to work out, and I appreciate your criticism, it has been noted.

I don't get it how some folks are capable of falling in love with every single underground early 00's

Metalcore band and still say this feels generic. I won't go as far as saying this feels completely

original, but it's extremely solid and the songwriting is as mature and thought out as it gets. And

the album presents distinct phases and atmospheres throughout. I say this is extremely good for what

it is.

yea for a debut it's a solid step. it's not bad by any means. some metalcore is just intolerable. this is not

@Jac I actually do mostly rhythm guitars, with the exception of 2 solos and 3 leads. I also preform all the singing, and do the deeper growls and high shrieks found in the death metal oriented songs and breakdowns. I would actually like to know what you think personally though apart from Dun. You seem to have a slightly better view.

Perdition (pt1/pt2) + Dolor. Outstanding melodeath section. Perdition pt.2 give me chills all the time. That dm riff, that lyric. m/
