just a few small changes, that review was halfassed even by usual standards
"almost impossible to get people to jam them on here"
given that the userbase is now infested with turds this is often a good thing tho

Shot fired haha.

Userbase is loaded with absolute fannies. Worse so than before I left. Back on-topic, album is good stuff but hardly their best work.

Yeah, out of the 5 R.E.M. albums I've heard, this is like 4th best. Still like the 3.5-4 range though.

@Ars It's a pity you didn't hear Murmur before anything else, I did and I rank it equal to 'Automatic' which I doubt I would have otherwise. But everyone's different so I recommend getting on that, you might find it's still tits anyway
@Lakes. hell yeah bro, they got kinda shite after that, Collapse Into Now is awesome though

Why is it a pity? I'll get to it eventually.
I've heard everything from Lifes-Automatic and they only make me want to dive deeper into R.E.M. so I see no harm done. Fables is probably next for me though.

Probably. Out of the 5 albums I've heard Automatic for the People is my favorite though.

Some great stuff here. My top 3 would be Turn You Inside Out, Stand, and You Are The Everything.

World Leader Pretend is the pinnacle on here.

To be fair there isn't really a bad track on this, just the highlights on this don't match up with the highlights from Document/Murmur/Automatic for me.

Don't remember much from this, but I do remember not enjoying it nearly as much as the other ones.

Still haven't heard Murmur, just recently heard Reckoning though and yeah Pageant and Document are better than Reckoning honestly...

Yeah I never got around to listening to Reckoning again, didn't love it on first two listens.

Dude get Murmur as quickly as possible, you're missing out. Fables Of The Reconstruction is one of my favorites as well, hard grower and insanely underrated.

I'd revisit it Clay because it actually took my 3rd listen to truly appreciate it oddly enough.

"Dude get Murmur as quickly as possible"
I won't listen to TOO soon, but I assure you that it'll be the next R.E.M. album I check. I've been making my way backward from Automatic for the People for some time haha

Yeah I might jam again later then. Agreed with Dan, gotta listen to Murmur, it's great.

Cheers guys, from Murmur to Automatic they were always pretty damn excellent, after that they started to slide down a bit, but New Adventures In Hi-Fi is very underrated and Accelerate is a great listen as well.
