There's nothing wrong with giving a quick lecture/reflection of a genre or the band in the first parts of the review (I sometimes do them), but it really doesn't work well here- as Greg said, it's 2 paragraphs long and 60% of it focuses on that while the rest is just a quick view of the album itself.
I hate to add to this 'review needs work' bandwagon, but you can always go back and fix it up, add some new thoughts to it. We have all written less than adequate reviews from time to time (I have my share of them), it's unavoidable actually. but that's the whole purpose of the 'edit this review' function.

@Paperback My whole intention was to make it a really quick view of the album itself, I had no plans of expanding upon what I said any further than I what I've already written. I really don't see that issue with the review, and I feel that I've said everything I wanted to say about this album precisely in the way I wanted to say it. The second paragraph is actually longer than the first one too lol, so this "lecture" paragraph doesn't take up 60% of the review at all.

It's longer by a mere sentence, it's pretty much the same length as the intro. But I'm not here to nitpick at your review, mate, I'm just giving you feedback to improve. Though if you're satisfied with what you've got here, then by all means leave it as is. As I said before, it's a solid write-up.

like i said, first para is a little superfluous insofar as it being half your review and it's just the setup, but the content is still good and well written. maybe add another paragraph or just beef up the second one and you're fine.
