No, if they had the same energy that they used to have then I'd be totally fine with listening to "old people music". But they don't. And chances are they never will again considering the way their last 4 releases ended up.

...Yeah they really are. Is the amount of shit this album gets not enough to prove that to you? Or, again, their last 4 albums for that matter. Green Day's style relies on energy for it to be good. They've never been amazing song writers, but their music was energetic which made it fun to listen to. Over the years they've lost a lot of that energy, which again, isn't that unexpected considering their age. If they had changed their style and stopped relying on that energy that they no longer had, they could still be putting out good material.

Actually considering Uno, Dos, Tre, and 21st Century Break Down were their last 4 albums and that last one only came out in 2009 that only makes them all 36, so I have no idea where you got that number from but w/e
Unless for some reason you'd want to consider Uno Dos and Tre one album which would just be silly. Either way those were the ones I was talking about, sorry if there was any miscommunication.

On top of that I guess saying they were too old for music was the wrong choice of words, they're too old for this type or music. Or rather they no longer have the energy for this type of music which is most likely due to their age.
