Yes and now. They both play melodic doom with gothic melodies, yet also sound different from each other.

Ah, the glamorous life of the food industry.

On an unrelated note, I dig the new layout of the review page.

Ah, the glamorous life of the food industry.

So you don't want to hear about the lobsters then?

Yeah I like the review layout too, looks pretty good on a mobile too.

Inherit the Eden was staggering, their follow up was gonna be good but then the vocals just completely kill any chance it had. Am afraid to try this :/

I'm sure you'll be relieved to know that there is a different vocalist here than on their sophomore record and he's using death growls (along with clean vocals) instead of those post-metal-like shouts found on TEOTWAWKI.

That's definitely reassuring. I seriously tried like 5 times to listen to their sophomore but I just couldn't get past the shouting, really not my thing. I will get around to this soon.

I still take their debut as my favorite. I like all three albums though. Quality-wise, they're a consistent band.

I'm really digging this right now, especially The Cure, love the gutturals on it. Will probably be be either a 3.5 or 4.
