This is such an underrated gem, favorite Industrial album hands down, 10 years later and still jamming it fairly regularly

very nice album even if all the songs have straight and predictable song structures. They're very fun to listen to and still are one of my favourite industrial metal bands (and also "us-coldwave" a genre I still have a heart for, like bands like Chemlab, Penal Colony, 16Volt, Cyanotic, Swamp Terrorists, Haloblack, H3llB3nt, Final Cut, Christ Analogue, Society Burning and more).

I also love Anticore and Psycho The Rapist which I both find even better. Lord Of The Cynics is also solid.

I wish Anticore has better rating. I love the song structures on it more, it's more complex than on the often catchy The 5ifth Column. And I love the heavily distorted guitar sound, typical for us-coldwave.

Also to me (I don't care about others opinions) in no way is this better than Anticore and Psycho The Rapist which both have much better structured songs. But of course americans always want stuff to be as accessible as it can be...I usually like it the other way, I love it when choruses get avoided or just delayed.

Thought I’d bump this classic quick. It’s great stuff still.
