Thank you everyone for the comments and good feedback.

@ckreticeland and keyblade

Yeah, I've heard their whole discography and I agree that their first and this are probably their two best with Epoch being their weakest (though still good in its own way). I have all of them at a range of 3-3.5, solid work but nothing all that groundbreaking.

@Crysis

I really dont know what you would have to say about this one. Obviously you're much more knowledgable about the genre than I am, so you'd probably find flaws or strengths that I perhaps overlooked. From my own experience, I'd say it's a good album because I genuinely enjoyed the highlight tracks mentioned but there's alot of the same bag of tricks being deployed throughout I think.

Band is awesome and I'm probably the only one that thinks that.

Nah, I really like this band too. Gotta check this out.

Epoch is a solid 3.5 for me and The Malediction Fields is a high 4. Just downloaded this one too. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

It's got some solid tracks, with "Hands Of Dust", "Spectre", and "Wolf Sun" being the main highlights in my opinion.

Somewhat a weaker band within the Black Metal, Folk genre, but I will listen just for the mertuls. Great review by the way.

good review of an awesome album, they get better with each output, almost on par with Agalloch now.

Definitely like this more than Epoch already, but don't know if I can put it ahead of The Malediction Fields.

Their E.P. is still the best thing they've ever done.

Great album, Hands of Dust is probably my favorite track. I do love the first 3 minutes or so of Spectre too, one of my favorite parts of the entire album.
