Listen to Apostrophe if you are wanting to get into the Zappa, but it doesn't compare to the musicianship of Hot Rats. Its just a lot easier to get into.

nice job on the review, fucking amazing record. I disagree a bit with you saying it's not the easiest to get into, cause given his body of work I think Hot Rats is pretty easy to get into comparitively. Nonetheless, glad to see this had a review, brilliant stuff this album
