I had a dream with Larry in it too recently. Only all we did was tune guitars in his mansion which was like just down the street from my house.

it was weird

I wonder if he actually plays guitar. That is cool and strange though.

I don't even think this album is real. Nice try Mayor West but your brainwashing doesn't work on me!

i imagine Larry would try playing guitar, hurt his finger, make a big deal out of it then get frustrated and give up

you know an album is average when everyone forgets about it a month later

Well to be fair I never bothered listening to any of them

Though I forgot about them again until I saw this thread today

That's pretty bad, lol

I got scared away from Tre after listening to Dos. Is this BETTER?

It's much better than Dos nightmare, just don't go in expecting another Dookie

"However, they have erred in going for an album trilogy, a format that really only works for bands with expansive soundscapes and multiple avatars. The Smashing Pumpkins, Collective Soul, The Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, U2… these are some of the outfits that can pull off a project like this. With Green Day, you get occasionally unedited (read: bad) songwriting with unavoidable repetition and redundancy."

BURN.

Also Existing2, if you could not advertise another review on my review, that'd be cool, thanks.

I'm probably gonna do a track by track for this, any pointers?

Just as a word of advice, track by track reviews are not typically a good idea. Especially if you're going to rate this a 5 - not that I don't believe you think it's truly a classic, but you'll have a hell of a lot of work to do convincing people of your opinion. I'd look at other reviews for this and then practice not doing a track by track.

Walk Away is the best feel good track Green Day has made since American Idiot. I just love it. Album

still a 4 for me. This is underrated, but as long as I get to enjoy it I am happy.

First two faded quickly, but dude I am telling you, this stayed strong in my mind somehow. I knew it

would the first time I heard it. Green Day fans are quietly digging this. I think it will become the

next Warning, which was first underrated but later acclaimed as one of Green Day's "secret" gems.

I doubt that. Despite the many low scores, there are still many 3.5s and 4s as well. Those are real people.

Album's ratings are all over the place. From what I gather, this is the best of the three?
