Besides the obvious Dark Side Of The Moon pun, there's the drug addiction reference. So it isn't just thrown there. Still, I understand not everybody will find this funny.

Yeah. Relapse especially is a poor album unfortunately. It depends when you ended up liking them Pestiferous.

Thanks Paperback. Where have you been ? I haven't seen you on the site for like a month now.

@Lambda - Yeah, they were big heroin addicts at the time, especially Al. If you haven't seen it already, check the FIX documentary with footage taken from their 1996 Sphinctour. It has some pretty shocking/funny footage. Al is just mental.

Well you should start with The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste or Psalm 69 (The Land Of Rape And Honey is another great record). Then go to their latest records, especially Houses Of The Mole and Rio Grande Blood. If you dig these, check out Filth Pig and the rest of them. I personally like Filth Pig a lot even if it's the odd one in their discography.

get Land of Rape and Honey-Filth Pig + Anomos. for starters then Id say get this album. Just avoid everything from 04-present because Al pretty much loses his song and lyric writing ability

I'm a fan of Ministry's early stuff, but I HATE this album, more than albums by artists I don't even like. Really hate it. But hey, if others enjoy it great.

I've listened to most Ministry albums (everything but With Sympathy, Twitch and Animositjksdf), and didn't have high hopes for this one, based on everything I'd heard. Maybe I'm an easy sell, but I liked Filth Pig's sludginess, and this had it in spades, plus Al's usual weirdness.

Oddly enough, Bad Blood might be my least favorite song here.

Remember taking this photo... good times all around. Still wish I asked for 2% per album sold.

Bad Blood is among Ministry‘s best material, such a great tune.

Kaif and Vex and Siolence are great. Ministry should of stuck with this style and made a gothic rock album with industrial touches.

Its just Ministry on autopilot. After Psalm69 people didnt give it too much attention because Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie were on fire with a more aproachable and danceable industrial rock.

sad that ministry on autopilot is the last quality music we've heard from al jourgensen in almost 30 years. such a multifaceted pioneering eccentric individual and is such a big inspiration of mine. but it seems clear all the hard drugs since the psalm days did some real damage to that brain of his : (
