That was actually a strategy we taught in Korea (for all the brief time I taught there) to help kids recognize the flow of English paragraphs/sentences. Of course, we don't fully realize what all of our "transition words" are because we use them frequently. But if you stop and think about it, things like "therefore," "however," and "in relation to" are pretty obvious transitionary phrases.
...How did this turn into a grammar seminar again? Haha.

Disc 1, disc 5, and a few tunes in between are great ("The Boy with a Star on His Head" and "Christmas Unicorn" especially... both 4+/5 songs)

Boney was (probably) right. Either "Christmas Unicorn," "All I Want for Christmas Is You," or Frightened Rabbit's "It's Christmas So We'll Stop" is the best Christmas song... leaning Suffy.
"Christmas Unicorn" is also probably my favorite Sufjan song I've heard
