Haha, thanks Hillary. You passed out the other day, right?
And Andy, I do think he put a lot of effort into this one. That sentence only meant that he had the capacity to focus on other things in life, you know? Instead he channeled it through his music, which makes me happy since I love the album.

I'd like this more if the first one wasn't so damn excellent.

Uh, because it's so much better than this one. No way those hooks are worse than the ones on this.

Lines is good. In The A is fucking fire.
|

Yeah, I definitely agree. In the A is possibly the best track here.
Thom Pettie's my favorite, even if its setup sometimes misses.

I need to check this out

She hates me is absolutely awesome. Easily the third best rap album of the year for me (behind R.AP. Music and Good Kid, M.A.A.D City)
Just so much fun to listen to.

key to the kuffs was disapointing as fuck dude
this album almost feels like a compilation of other artists' songs that he did features on, i like a few songs on here but as a whole i can't help but feel that it's too disjointed and cohesion is a big part of albums for me

I think this album is a victim of Vicious Lies' success. This shit is smooth and bumpin'.
CPU is the sweetest song about cyberstalking I can imagine. Killer Mike's line on Thom Pettie is devastating. Descending is a gorgeous song about losing your father.
I think what might be so off putting to a lot of people is just how much territory he cedes to the artists he's collaborating with here. Descending is basically a Little Dragon song.....Big Boi doesn't show up at all on that one, unless one of those voices in the background is his, heavily distorted. It sounds like he told Phantogram to just write Phantogram songs for him to rap over, without any consideration towards his previous sound.
