I think DeathOnBroadway is the best username I've seen here. Just MO.

the reason no one likes this band is because they suck. And when you actually meet a fan, you wanna throw up, really.

Unfortuneately I have to see these guys live as an unfortuneate side effect of an AAR and FOB concert.

Good review.

I really had hope for this album.

Seeing the first video killed that.

Good review backed up everything you said and got your point across quite well. I might have rated this a tad higher but not much.

First time through the album I thought If Only You Were Lonely was an ok song. We Are So Last year kicked in and wasn't anything special but not horrible. Than Language Lessons came on and I got extremely annoyed, when you have THREE GUITARISTS and are starting a song off with a simple palm muted progression and not building anything on it, it's just really sad. Pens and Needles came on and I thought it was If Only You Were Lonely the intro sounds almost exactly the same. I lost interest at this point for the most part.

I think this band has yet to put out an album that full fills their potential. Third times a charm they say, hopefully they can all improve...

BTW Kripes JT seriously does talk like an android to the crowd, good call. I saw them last November with Silverstein and HH drummer broke something. JT start talking and I don't think I have ever heard so many STFU's at a concert in my life.

these guys are so dissapointing to me because i could easily see myself liking them if they werent so terrible. When i saw these guys at warped tour (i actually was walking past the stage to see mae) and i thought, "well, they suck, but they have alot of energy" (granted it was during niki fm so i dont know how he sounds talking), and i saw the saying sorry video, and laughed my a** off at JT dancing like an idiot, bouncing around like he has no clue whats going on

what i wonder is, do they actually watch the end product of their video's?, or just hope it doesnt blow and wait? b/c if they do the latter then i wont blame them for their crappy vid's (lol)

p.s.
As to the question of why their so popular

I think that victory records exec's buy a couple hundred cd's. and then the impressionable kids who want ot fit in grab for them like they have money in the cd booklet (another marketing strategy i bet they use lol)

hmm...now that I've actually taken the time to listen to this album, I would have to say I have become even more disgusted with what they are trying to do. Please, if you are going to have three guitarists, make sure at least one of them has some talent, and please try to do something different with each one...there is no point in having them all play the same exact thing. Pathetic, absolulely, unforgiveably, pathetic.

Actually, these guys are really popular by kids who don't know what real music talent is.
ummm why is this band in the pop-punk section? The should be in the emo section.
I don't see any post-hardcore elements anywhere. Why would you say such a silly thing?

:-|

Wow, great feedback and no negative feedback. How wonderful, and surprising.

It's funny how Victory Records advertises how pop music is dead and they have real music on the label. Its more like the other way around.

I just noticed how bad Hawthorne Height's album names are. This Message Edited On 03.25.06

It's a ray of false hope that somehow clawed it's way into HH's music.

Bayside might suck if they can't find a good drummer to replace their old one...
