prefer the stuff before 'in absentia' but deadwing i like yes, just this album put me off. they probably stopped now anyway havent they ?

On hiatus yeah, hopefully they won't disband, but Stevens made his solo band official and having so much fun that I think it'll be a while before he comes back here. As long as they don't disband its cool because I really don't mind the solo stuff. Next albums coming early next year.

Well of course it's not going to be as good as the original version of the album. It's not meant to be, it's live. Good review otherwise, though. I was at this concert actually at the Riviera in Chicago. It was sick. Tracks 1-5 on disc 2 were played at that venue. Can't wait to pop in that DVD and relive it all over again.

@Asnideremark, if you want quality live albums then their first DVD is definitely worth checking out. The first has the best setlist, the second has great video quality, and if you enjoyed Fear of a blank planet then you might enjoy it. Both have brilliant sound quality.

4.2 average already, lol of course. I might check this out. I like the band, but don't know all of their music. Dark Planet and Absentia are massive though.
