The Bends is no OK COmputer or Kid A. Th weakest of Radiohead's big three if you ask me.
Med, must you review every Radiohead album so that no other user can have a shot at having the main review for the album? This Message Edited On 03.15.06

Very nice review that an album like The Bends is very worthy of. You did the record justice.
As for me this is really the only Radiohead album I've ever listened to, as I really can't get into their other stuff. I just don't find it challenging or accessible, entertaining or interesting. They are very lukewarm to my ears. This Message Edited On 03.15.06

this album rocks something hard. Just is such a cool rocker, apparantly a tribute to Nirvana. My iron lung and the bends are also awesome songs. Oh and can't forget the beautifully soft fake plastic trees. Awesome review

Dude I hate radiohead thats why I gave them the classic rating.
MyRamona who told you this was a tribute to nirvana as far as I know they were never fans. If you read the lyrics to most of their song it kind of sounds like Thom is depressed and mourns the loss of a girl he used to be with (or never got with).
I find Exit Music overated all it is is just Thom singing and an acoustic guitar struming a few guitars in the background

My sister actually, I didn't say Just was factually a nirvana tribute - I quite clearly said 'apparantly'. I mean, it seems quite probable since this was released the year after Cobain shot himself, and the guitar is very 'In utero'. This Message Edited On 04.21.06

Someone broke into your hotel and stole your OK Computer?
|

Cash? No... Must stay focused on the mission. Hmm... Jewelry, Credit cards, 401k... Ah. A Radiohead cd. I claim my prize.
Why would someone break into a hotel room for a cd?

Whoa, okay, my Orchestra class was on vacation in Dallas for a contest. I bought Ok Computer, The Bends, and a NOFX CD. People were in the room a lot, and someone in the class took both OK Computer, and the NOFX as well as the case to The Bends. I still have The Bends disc because it was in my player. I have Kid A because my friend loaned me it, and I burned it.

You are actually about to make me go and sit in my room with the lights out and cry alone whilst listening to Linkin Park records, due to chronic frustration. i'll say this word one more time. A-P-P-A-R-A-N-T-L-Y, how many ways are there to interperet it??? Stop uneccesarily picking at things. This Message Edited On 05.02.06
