Their undisputed masterpiece "Hip to Be Square" was not on this album, but I still think on Sports they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.
Okay seriously though, about the review, the formatting, spacing, or something is SERIOUSLY fucked up about it, and needs to be fixed. It's a challenge to read, and looks like complete and utter shit.

What is up with the formatting
Im not sure. I think it has something to do with me copying and pasting this from my AP E-book. But it is especially odd considering the second half is perfectly normal.

It was taken from a novel, and posted as a review for a joke. So Im not worried about fixing it. lol

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour.
