I Heard this album twice and is just like all their other albums after the fall of ideals, their decline is a real shame.

Yeah it's not really a thing to get it featured, I mean i have 86 reviews, only 3-4 have been featured. Your better of learning from the comments and response.

I'll probably edit my review in the very near future. I'll de-confuse it.

This will probably be a good solid 2 for me.

This is 2, I'm sure fo that, at least overcome and for we are many didn't have a lot of songs that are similar to something that could release a shitty mainstream rock band, a good part of the songs on those 2 cd's actually had a more consistent instrumental work . This is by far the worst album of these guys and right now I don't expect anything more of this band in a near future.

Don't be surprised if there's a breakup.

This band continues to disappoint.
Almost every song reeks of cheese and the lyrics are beyond lame.
Down Through The Ages is the only song worth listening too.

I have to comment on this album because of the hatred.
Let me be clear, I discovered ATR shortly after Overcome came out and I'm not shitting you.. I probably listened to ONLY ATR for 6 months. They fucking blew me away.
I will agree that this album just doesn't have the "punch" I was hoping for. It IS different. A little more chorus and riff reliant. There are still plenty of "harder" songs of old though. I have read quite a few people referring to them trying to sound like FFDP.. couldn't disagree more. FFDP is FFDP and ATR is ATR.. it's that simple.
Some of the lyrics ARE a little sophomoric which is surprising to me because that's half the reason I fell in love with ATR.. the lyrics. That's only a minor gripe though because it's not an overwhelming flaw.
These are my minor complaints. Overall I like the album more and more every time I listen to it. I think some people listen to a song or two.. or 30 seconds of a song and call that "listening" to it. I have a cousin that does that and it drives me crazy. I may be biased because I am such an ATR fan but that's life.
I absolutely love Phils vocals and 99% of his lyrics are emotional, inspiring and in your face if you actually listen to them.
If you're an ATR fan give this album a shot, it's better than the thrashing it's getting here. Could it be better? Yeah, but most bands can't make a perfect album every time they walk into the studio.
