His new stuff reminds me a lot of video game music, must be why I like it so much, his older stuff definitely had more a Meshuggah influence, and more of a metal edge, but I don't think the new music is bad, reminds me a lot of Polyphia, and I'm a big guitar nerd so it suites my tastes well
