Reason? I mean he is Z-Ro’s main influence and one of the two people Scarface would never wanna battle (the other being em)
|
| |
Z-Ro raps over much better beats, this is kinda boring.

Can’t deny the production is inferior to Z-Ro. But the rhyming ability? (On other albums) I heard him say shit that sounded humanly impossible

Why ya wanna hate? (Of his 1998 album) was produced and later screwed and chopped by DJ Screw if you wanted to check it out
|
| |
Well I listen to hip-hop mostly for the beats/vibe, so his rhyming isn't enough for me although he is clearly talented.
|
| |
Yeah I love Screw so might give that a listen

Aight cause I know you always had Houston’s back and I wanted your take

Memphis probably has the edge for me, but H-town is a close second.

I always see people hate on K's beats, but how can you do that on this album? All the beats are sick and none of them are minimalistic or anything.

Like I don’t wanna speak for nero but if you look at 90s Memphis rap it was very hazed out, lofi most of the time, and usually very violent/hateful. Insane vibe.
On this album, the beats don’t suck but k-rino wasn’t any of that even if the beats weren’t bad.

Can't wait for a K-Rino coronavirus album. That shit would have to be a classic.

K-Rino's production has gotten better since, this is still my personal favourite though, straight-up conceptual genius!
