Each album has its own unique style and sound (although still very much sounding like MBD), and I think they're all pretty equal in terms of quality. The albums from Who Will Survive... to Red of Tooth and Claw have stories/themes to them which is cool.

Who Will Survive is pretty much the coolest album ever. These guys are criminally underrated in general though.

I bought this album for my dad the other day who I think will love this, he's into folky shit and he loves steve earle, I think he'll love that slight country vibe this has.

But yeah the more I listen to it the more I love it. I love how full the band sounds with the new member, reminds me of Who Will Survive..., and the way a lot of the songs build to a climax works really well for them.

I almost wish they'd re-record Who Will Survive. They played a bunch of songs off of it at the last show I saw them at, and

they sounded sick. Especially with Adam's voice matured to the point it's at now. Everything sounded so dense.

Especially on Until Morale Improves, and the Devil in Mexico.

It's a loose comparison, and I'm in no way implying that Mumford is anywhere close to as good as these guys.

I don't really see the comparison personally. I like mumford so I'm not just being a cunt, but besides the folk and maybe the slightly anthemic sound they're way different.

I've seen a few people call this a return to form, but I thought Magpie was just as brilliant...
