I say give CoE a shot, I found that a lot of the songs on that album really grew on me. But I almost never let a day go by without listening to this CD, its epic

where are your headz people?!?!...if u play any instrument, and you can play these guyz an u still say they suck well then I don't know what to say....then your too mainstream going for that cry-baby punk stuff they call music like simple plan.....these guys are unique when it comes to this style...its almost like dimebag only more intermediate and slower.

Definately can't hear the influence, and I play bass and guitar.

I dont find any Pantera influence on them. Much more Iron Maiden and some Metallica (I think M. Shadows is wearing a metallica shirt in the Unholy Confessions video correct me if im wrong).

I'd say more Iron Maiden on City Of Evil, dueling guitars, clean vocals. I can't really hear a Metallica influence, but then again I hate Metallica so...

The GnR influence is only readily aparrent on CoE though.
On WtF, I'd say it was a Maiden thing, which runs like a connecting thread through most of their career. Not much of a Metallica thing going on, and even less Pantera.
I'm gonna say that I detect a Queen influence here, and on StST. Listen to some of the vocal arrangements on I Won't See You Tonight, and Warmnesss On The Soul...
Then again, it could just be me.

Well you do have to be a fan of old Metallica to hear the influence in this album, though I would say a ton of Maiden and GnR. I think GnR is zacky vengeance's favorite band. Or maybe synysters, i forget.

I think GnR is Synyster's favorite band. He's wearing a GnR shirt in the Waking The Fallen booklet.

This isnt a perfect album... It sorta gets boring after about 7 tracks. But still dont hate on A7X cause City Of Evil sounded bland and GNR like. But this one is still pretty good.

I just saw a video of A7X at the Warped Tour a few years back, and Zacky was wearing a GnR shirt. I think it's safe to say that the band likes them.
