I agree with you for the most part but I still enjoyed the album a lot. The problem is indeed the songwriting. Songs like Cauterize and so on don't have shit on the album's better tracks, like Overcome or Defender. So WHY didn't they make all the songs that well? Who knows, but it is frustrating. I enjoyed everything on here, but there's a few songs that are clearly in a different league than others.



If they're going to put clean choruses in every song now they need to be a lot stronger than most of these are.
