"You did not put NFG in the same group as those below average bands."

It wasn't meant as an insult. How about you pretend I put The Offspring in there instead?

Every time I listen to this album I feel like it should be better than it is

I'm just messing with you, but the Offspring are a much better fit in tha group of bands.

Ha ha, yea. I gave up on The Offspring a long time ago.

"While Homesick was a vast improvement over For Those Who Have Heart"

^On second thought, this feels like a bit of an overstatement... Mostly the 'vast' part. I'll probably end up changing it.

I just don't get how you think this is an improvement from FTWHH

I haven't had any desire to listen to this band in like a year. Despite the fact that I enjoyed this a little when it came out.

I don't know, Sparrow... I liked it when I first got a hold of it but it faded pretty fast. The corny moments do ruin it, like the "mark my words" part in "A Shot in the Dark." That song is awesome right up until it hits a little after the 3 min mark. Ruins the whole thing for me. There's only about 4 or 5 tracks from FTWHH that I have in regular rotation still.

To be fair, I never really said said it's an improvement on the sound they had going on the previous two albums. I said they tried something new and I liked the way it turned out better. From what you guys are saying FTWHH is their best and Homesick was a step down. What if they kept trying what they were doing and just recycled another less satisfying FTWHH? At least they tried something different.

I never said I wanted them to keep the same sound but I dislike how they separated the pop punk from the metalcore, as I think it resulted in 10 mediocre songs instead of what could be 5 great songs. They could have improved as musicians, not settled for a generic sound

This is that band where one album is enough to enjoy them. Their first album is that album for me.

Well, I guess we are just going to have to settle on disagreeing with each other. I thought I read they are working on something new. We will just see what happens on the next album.
