alright, well Ive thoroughly given this a listen and I have to say Im quite surprised that I enjoy it. Normally I hate death/black metal, but this is really a great album. I love the bassists voice too, and the way the orchestra interplays with the rest of the band. I might review this, just to give an outsiders perspective on it.

You can't help but like Progenies. It's such a catchy and powerful song.

I don't like Progenies. It's one of Dimmu's weakest songs.

No way! It's got the super epic intro/outro and the really cool keyboard interlude. It's definitely one of my favorite songs by them.
It can't compete with Mourning Palace or Sympozium though.

I sure hope so. I listened to it in my friend's car, and I despised it. I'm starting to think this whole black metal thing isn't for me, which kind of sucks because it sounds like an interesting genre.

This album isn't black metal at all, so don't confuse it with the likes of Darkthrone or Mayhem. I hated the song at first but now I just see it as a poor song by a great band.

I like that song as well. It was what originally brought me into Dimmu's work. It does have a very driving nature to it.
