@yoyo

I've heard all 292 Nas songs on my itunes at least 5 times. And several over 100.

Yeah, Nas has had more than one bad album. He's still my GOAT though.

Well of course.
I can think of very few ways in which NaS could make a record as bad as Illmatic is good.

how much "actual time and effort" do you think they put in to basically mumble the name of the songs over and over again for the choruses? lol

I seriously don't get all the hate for this album. The beats here are really awesome, and the lyrics are also awesome, for the exception of two songs that bring it down to an album rating of...

Album rating: 9.3/10

Best Songs:

Life We Chose

Project Windows

Come Get me

Last Words

Family

New World

Worst Songs:

Big Girl

You Owe Me

But, yeah, this is Nas's weakest album, but if that is true, that should be used as bragging rights, as it is still awesome.

damn that's a pretty high pedestal for this one but after hearing it a couple of time it just isn't as bad as people act like it is

i mean, in terms of falls from grace for rappers, i think snoop & eminem have done a lot worse, to name only a couple
