I fucking love the bass line on "Passover" I mean the lyrics? the passion? Everything is on key with that song.

Closer is tied with Pornography in greatness. For me to say that shows how great it is. Passover is

amazing. I like how he he mutes his strings his strums it like a guitar during the verse. So much

creativity and passion. I love it. When Colony comes on it just sends you into some new dimension of

awesomeness.

Heh, mine too... So you just don't like Corgan? I really believe he's just as great as anyone. The man

made Adore, MC&TIS, Siamese Dream, Gish, The Machinas and Oceania. That's gotta count for something. I

mean, Adore Siamese Dream and MC are classics.

The guy created three classic records (the first ones) but his personality overshadows the music most of the time and I despise that.

Do you mean his ego? I really don't think it's fair to judge music because you don't like the guy making it. He still made some of the best music I've ever heard. Plus I personally like his personality. He's calmed down quite a bit lately. I watch a ton of interviews of him.

Yea, ego is a better term I guess. I just think he forgot there were three other people in the band that were helping him create those classic pumpkin songs and he never fully appreciated their contributions during that time period.

I get what you're saying, but he did record everything. And billy often defends james and darcy in interviews. Jimmy often says that they sucked. Go to youtube and search "jimmy says james and darcy cant play". Then find the whole interview video. Billy defends the a bit if iremember correctly.

Echo and the Bunnymen don't nearly get as much attention as they deserve.

I'd say Billy Corgan is up there with the greats.
