Album Rating: 3.5
Review read more like a 3-3.5 opposed to 4. And it also was too much of a comparison to Exoplanet rather than a proper review

Damn Chuck you don't even have this rated and you loved Exoplanet, you must be very let down.

@wacknizzle
Yeah the colors review is like 2 years ago. Thanks for the feedback!
@ChuckTheMan
Yeah it's either a low 4 or a high 3.5. I know there are a lot of comparisons to Exoplanet but that's pretty much inevitable. When you review something, you always compare it to the rest of their discography (if you heard it) no matter who you are. And in this case the only album they have is Exoplanet.
I still think the review is relevant enough for someone who never heard of Exoplanet too. Do you think it's at least well-written?

It's well written yes. Just too much comparison a review isn't a a comparison of said album to the rest of said bands discog, I mean comparisons to other albums are useful to the reader but this is just too much. Not enough was said of Intrinsic

Yeah I agree with Chuck, you shouldn't spend so much time comparing their other works. A great album should standout on it's own, and what makes it great should always be analyzed the most. Also importantly, how it affects you as a listener.

Thank you Wack and Chuck for your constructive criticism! I like this review how it is, but i'll definetly keep that in mind for future reviews.

Good review overall. It reads more like a 3.5 to me, but whatcha gawn do. :]

I understand why you guys think it reads more like a 3.5. I'm not even sure myself how I really feel about it haha. But I gave it a 4 because a mix of heaviness, ambient sections and prog is pretty much the best sound ever for me.
Also, it's incredibly rare when I can listen to an album its entirety and love every track so that gets a lot of point from me.
Thanks for the feedback : )

Excellent review. The pretentiousness is the only factor that is lyrically holding this band back.

people actually listen for lyrics in prog music? this is news to me

I do sometimes. But as long as it doesn't bring the music down, it won't change my opinion much. I didn't feel the need to mention them because of that.
Oh and awesome rating and awesome dig haha. Is your favorite still Ragnarok or is it Have A Blast again (I remember your list)?

Thanks man! My top 3 is Erised, Have A Blast and Facepalm Mute (no order). Did you see my review (I don't remember haha)? If you didn't I'd like to know what you think of it : )
Which songs are you favorites here? Mine are Causality and Geocentric Confusion.
