@Ecnal, yeah I know how that goes. No sense forcing yourself to write if you're not feeling it. You are a great writer though so hopefully you'll brew up something soon. ;) I've been meaning to post a review on that new site too but just been lazy about it

I was trying to mix it up a little and do something different when attempting to write during the summer after my C&C review, but I couldn't really get anything going, and I just kind of gave up a little, lol.

With all this chatter about Blinks latest, lend your ears to this good ol' album. Mm mm mmmm.

"The year was 2002.", lines like there come off as corny more than anything. See if you can find a way to naturally imbue exposition into the story/review.

Place a comma after "Enron", remove "s" from "High School".

Would suggest replacing "remember that far back, it really is" with "remember that far back, really". A touch more concise.

The last line of para one has a lot of name-dropping. If the bands are being name-dropped as a way to inform us of what "No Use for a Name" sounds like, disperse the name-dropping throughout the review. Even better, try and describe the sound of the scene. It'll reduce the need for name-dropping and you can leave any necessary mentions to the recommendation box. Well, given the recommendation box exists in 2012.

I won't tear apart the whole review as it is your first and it is a great start. Keep it up; I look forward to seeing where you progress from here!

"lines like there come off as corny" should you be giving critique when your third word is a typo? Also, be clearer in how he could fix this problem; explain why what he did was wrong.
