"hip-hop" as a genre is sonically expanding to the point of nearing complete meaninglessness.

This person obviously isn't stoked for Nas', Kanye's or Lupe Fiasco's new albums. lol

Esta Noche will keep be happy until 2013 when her album comes out
And 212, surprisingly enough, has had amazing staying power

Blurring the line of genres is exactly what music like this needs. Azealia Banks is fresh and her eclectic taste definitely lends well to her creativity. As much as she wants to hates "hipsters", its her selection of her beats that's her most redeeming trait. She can also rap and sing which very very few people can say in this day and age. High hopes for her debut... hope she doesn't lose sight of herself.
