But eventually it clicked for me, not that I think you haven't listened to it enough, it sounds like you have."



I've had it on on and off for just over a week now (I was lucky enough to get a log-in for the private stream) and pretty intensively these past two days. I wouldn't be comfortable giving such a low score if I wasn't certain that I thought it was deserved.



Though I wish I spent a little longer on the review, it could flow a lot better than it currently does.

It grew on me. Some good songs on here like Synthetica and Speed The Collapse and some sweet ones like Clone but this sounds so much lamer than Fantasies.



Metric finally found their sound and they've messed it up. This is a band best suited to cocky sounding electric synth using rock songs. I was hoping they'd give us more of Gold Gun Girls or Sick Muse rather than this but oh well, they're not old yet.

Barely a 3, and Fantasies is one of my favorite albums. At its best, Synthetica is cheesy 80s inspired fun. Too many songs just sound empty.
